Summary

The bill: creates the statutory position of Coordinator-General for Remote Indigenous Services to coordinate the Remote Service Delivery Strategy; and provides for: the functions and general powers of the position; terms and conditions and staffing support; and regular and annual reporting requirements.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
